Take a backup

a-) Create a Aero backup by using the 'Backup WhatsApp data' option under Aero Privileges 》Universal 》Backup and restore.

Do not close the page until the backup process is complete.

b-) Create a WhatsApp backup by using the 'Chat backup' option under WhatsApp Settings 》Chats.

Do not close the page until the backup process is complete.

Make sure to protect the backups

If your Android version is 11 and higher:
Using your file manager, copy your backup folder (the backup folder name may vary according to your package name, such as com.whatsapp, com.aero, or com.aerolla) located in Android 》media folder to another folder.

After copying to another folder, if the folder name is "com.aero" or "com.aerolla", change the folder name to "com.whatsapp".

Make sure that the folder you copied your backup folder into will not be deleted.

You can check your package name by navigating to Aero Privileges 》About page.

If your Android version is 10 or lower:
Using your file manager, copy your Whatsapp folder in your internal storage to another folder.

Make sure that the folder you copied your Whatsapp folder into will not be deleted.

Uninstall & Reinstall

Uninstall WhatsApp Aero from your device and install WhatsApp Aero V9.63 (If you want to transfer your data to Official WhatsApp, you can install Official WhatsApp instead of WhatsApp Aero V9.63).

Grant permissions to WhatsApp

Make sure you have granted storage permission to WhatsApp by going to your device's Settings 》Apps 》WhatsApp.

Move backups correctly

a-) Open the WhatsApp application, proceed to the phone number verification page, but close the application completely without verifying your phone number.

b-) Copy back your backup folder that you copied to another folder in step 2.

Open WhatsApp

Open the WhatsApp application and verify your phone number. Then, click on the restore backups button as shown on the screen below.
