Problems with restoring data

I'm not able to answer my old topic, so I'm creating a new one.

My backup data is in android 10 version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD0citXVxQE), but the new whatsaero (com.whatsapp) is coming in android 11 format (https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=MO-SKCkQEVk&t=4s), what to do in this case?

Hello.
I have not yet tried restoring backups taken on Android 10 on Android 11. So I don't have clear information.

You can try to restore it by moving the "WhatsApp" folder in your main storage to "Android >> media >> com.whatsapp".

Remember, you should do this in order:

Install with WhatsApp Aero com.whatsapp.
Open WhatsApp Aero, give permission to access storage. But close the application without verifying the number.
Copy the "WhatsApp" folder in your main storage to "Android >> media >> com.whatsapp".
Open WhatsApp Aero, verify your number and continue.

The order of these operations is important.

Note that this is an untested process and is just an idea.
